Quetzalcoatl & Tezcatlipoca, or “Feathered-Serpent & Smoking Mirror,” refer to the two most highly regarded figures in ancient Mexico. Quetzalcoatl represents a mytho-historical figure who both revolutionized agriculture, architecture, astronomy, poetry, divination, art and other sciences and is considered a progenitor/savior of mankind. Tezcatlipoca represents the archenemy of Quetzalcoatl and a patron of illusions, deception and is a co-progenitor with Quetzalcoatl.
